Additions and Renovations to K-12 School
Marion, TexasIES Commercial & Industrial (IES) was contracted to complete renovations and additions to an existing K-12 school in Marion, Texas.
This project consisted of providing electrical and data services for a new 2-story science/technology building, band hall, agricultural animal barn and renovations to 6 other buildings, which included a new cafeteria, a new music classroom, a new gymnasium and renovated classrooms.
IES also tested, troubleshot, and repaired existing fiber optics cabling that interconnected the campus buildings. Fire Alarm and P/A scopes required multiple underground conduit duct banks that had to be added to, and extended, and inner ducts to be installed to allow for the new cabling to interconnect all buildings together on networked systems.
