IES Commercial & Industrial (IES) was contracted with Hourigan\u00a0 to provide electrical installation for the Greer Environmental Science Center on the campus of Virginia Wesleyan College.<\/p>\n

IES provided all LED lighting, an automated greenhouse control system, emergency generator and lab equipment installation for the approximatly 36,500 + SF facility.<\/p>\n

The design and model of this project was completed while construction was ongoing. This environmental friendly building received a LEED Gold Certification, including a photovoltaic installation of the roof of the building. The BIM model helped facilitate the use of prefabrication beyond the standard components.<\/p>\n
