Darcia has over thirty years of experience in human resources management within the service, manufacturing, major defense contracting, and electrical construction contracting industries.
She joined IES in 2001 and has held progressive positions in branch, regional, and divisional human resources.
In addition to her key strength in human resource leadership, Darcia possesses a background in employee relations, performance management, succession planning, training and development, HR compliance audits, personnel policies and procedures, EEO and affirmative action, recruitment and selection, DOL registered electrical apprenticeship training programs, and achieving corporate objectives. She earned her B.S. in Human Resources Management and Labor Relations from University of Maryland University College, College Park, Maryland, and maintains a Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification from the Society for Human Resource Management.
